A very nice sculpture of the god wearing a sacrificial victim's skin. In pre-Hispanic mexico, the flayed lord was the god of fertility and the life/death cycle. They would sacrifice the victims, the priest would wear their skin, and then the skin would be buried at the foot of the altar.
